 IQBAL MEMORIAL TRUST, SRINAGAR (Kashmir) was established in the year 1980 as a direct response to the prevalent ignorance, illiteracy, moral turpitude, pitiful poverty and morass into which our society has fallen. Iqbal Memorial Trust, Srinagar is registered with Registrar of Societies, J&K Government under No: 428- S of 1978. It is also registered with the Home Ministry, Government of India under FCRA. Over the past 24 years the Trust has grown from a tiny two room accommodation to a magnificent complex with graceful buildings, sprawling lawns, moderate play fields and with thousands of students on its rolls receiving modem education. Presently it is running four junior colleges, provides coaching at half a dozen centres for entrance into professional colleges and manages more than a hundred and eighty social service centres in whole of J&K state. An institute of excellence (IITM) functioning in Budgam district of Kashmir valley , imparting quality education in information technology and Management courses.
